How to Add, Edit, and Delete a User

This guide will walk you through managing users on FlyTask. You’ll learn how to add, edit, and delete users from your organisation, ensuring the right people have the appropriate permissions and access.

ℹ️  Only Admins can invite, edit, or delete users within FlyTask. If you are not an Admin, you will need to ask an Admin to perform these actions.

How to Add a User

Adding a user to your FlyTask organisation is simple. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to FlyTask and go to the Dashboard.
  2. Click on Organisations from the left-hand menu.
  3. Navigate to Settings and select Members.
  4. Click the Add User button.
  5. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
  6. From the dropdown, choose their role:
    • Admin
    • Org Manager
    • Member
  7. Click Invite to send the invitation.

Once invited, the user will receive an email with steps to join your organisation.



How to Edit a User

To change a user’s details or role:

  1. Log in to FlyTask and go to Organisations.
  2. Click on Settings and select Members.
  3. Find the user you wish to edit and click the Edit button next to their name.
  4. Update the user’s role by choosing from the dropdown:
    • Admin
    • Org Manager
    • Member
  5. Once you’ve made the changes, click Save.

The updated role and permissions will be applied immediately.



How to Delete a User

To remove a user from your organisation:

  1. Log in to FlyTask and go to Organisations.
  2. Navigate to Settings and select Members.
  3. Find the user you want to delete and click the Delete button next to their name.
  4. Confirm the action in the pop-up window.

The user will no longer have access to your FlyTask organisation after deletion.
