To connect your X (formerly Twitter) account to the Task, follow these detailed steps:

  1. Create an App on X Developer Platform:

    • Visit the X Developer Platform.
    • Sign in with your X account credentials. If you do not have an account, sign up using your existing X account details.
    • Navigate to the 'Developer Portal' and select 'Projects & Apps'.
    • Click on 'Create an App' and fill in the required details such as app name, description, and website URL.

  2. Obtain Client ID and Client Secret:

    • Once your app is created, go to the 'Keys and Tokens' tab.
    • Click on 'Create' under 'OAuth 2.0 Client ID and Client Secret'.
    • Copy the 'Client ID' and 'Client Secret'. You will need these for the next steps.

  3. Configure the App:

    • In the app settings, navigate to the 'OAuth 2.0' section.
    • Add the callback URL: https://workflow.flytask.com/rest/oauth2-credential/callback.

  4. Input Credentials in the Task Setup:

    • Go to the Task setup in your FlyTask dashboard.
    • In the 'Connect Your X Account (formerly Twitter)' section, click on 'Add New Credentials'.
    • Enter the 'Client ID' and 'Client Secret' obtained from the X Developer Platform.
    • After entering the credentials, a new button will appear saying 'Connect my account'.
    • Click on 'Connect my account'. A popup from X will appear asking you to log in and authorise FlyTask.
    • Follow the prompts to complete the authorisation process.

By following these steps, you will successfully connect your X (formerly Twitter) account to the Task.
