By inputting details on the product, end-user screening, and shipping documentation, FlyTask generates a compliance checklist to ensure responsible export practices. The completed checklist is delivered to the user’s specified email.

Introduction

The Export Control Compliance task in FlyTask helps organisations manage compliance with export control regulations. By entering details about the product, destination country, and end-user screening, FlyTask generates a structured checklist to verify that all regulatory obligations are met.

 


 

Setting Up the Export Control Compliance Task

Control Compliance Configuration

Product Name

  • Name of the product being exported.
  • Example: SmartHome Security System

Product Export Control Classification Number (ECCN)

  • Export Control Classification Number for the product.
  • Example: 5A992

Classification Verified

  • Indicates whether the product’s classification has been verified.
  • Example: Classification confirmed by compliance team

Destination Country

  • The country where the product is being exported.
  • Example: Germany

Country Restrictions Checked

  • Confirms if export restrictions for the destination country have been checked.
  • Example: No restrictions found for the destination country

Embargo or Sanction

  • Indicates if there are any sanctions or embargos on the destination country.
  • Example: None applicable to the destination country

End User Name

  • Name of the end user.
  • Example: John Doe

End User Screening Completed

  • Confirms if screening of the end user has been completed.
  • Example: Screening completed with no compliance issues identified

End User Restricted Party

  • Specifies if the end user is on a restricted party list.
  • Example: Not listed as a restricted party

End Use

  • Intended purpose of the product by the end user.
  • Example: Residential security monitoring

End Use Verified

  • Confirms if the intended end-use has been validated.
  • Example: End use verified by compliance team

License Required

  • Indicates if a license is required for the export.
  • Example: No license required for the export

License Obtained 

  • Confirms if the necessary license has been obtained.
  • Example: License not required

Commercial Invoice Prepared

  • Confirms if the commercial invoice is ready for processing.
  • Example: Commercial invoice prepared and ready for processing

Packing List Prepared

  • Indicates if the packing list is complete and ready for dispatch.
  • Example: Packing list prepared and ready for dispatch

Shipping Documents Prepared

  • Confirms if all shipping documents are completed.
  • Example: Shipping documents completed and ready for transportation

Documentation Complete

  • Confirms if all documentation for the shipment is finalised.
  • Example: Documentation complete and ready for submission

Personnel Trained

  • Specifies if the personnel involved have received necessary training.
  • Example: Personnel trained and certified for their roles

Training Date

  • Date when personnel training was completed.

Monitoring Process In Place

  • Confirms if a monitoring process for compliance is established.
  • Example: Monitoring process established and operational

Last Audit Date

  • Date when the last compliance audit was conducted.

Reporting Mechanism in Place

  • Indicates if a reporting mechanism is operational.
  • Example: Reporting mechanism established and operational

Violations Reported

  • Specifies any documented regulatory violations.
  • Example: Two violations reported in the last quarter

 


 

Email and AI Configuration

Email Address for Delivery

  • Email address for receiving the completed compliance checklist.
  • Example: support@flytask.com

Level of Creativity (AI Temperature)

  • Controls AI creativity in content generation. Options include:
    • 0.1 - Very Low
    • 0.3 - Low
    • 0.5 - Medium (Recommended)
    • 0.7 - High
    • 1.0 - Very High

Choose Preferred Language

  • Language for the generated checklist.
  • Default: en-GB

 


 

Using the Export Control Compliance Task

After completing all required fields, follow these steps to finalise and execute the task:

  1. Review All Entries: Verify each input, particularly in product details, country restrictions, and documentation sections, as these are essential for an accurate compliance checklist.

  2. Submit the Form: After reviewing, submit the form to save your entries, preparing them for processing by FlyTask.

  3. Execute the Task: Click “Execute” to generate the Export Control Compliance checklist. FlyTask’s AI will use your inputs to create a structured compliance report.

  4. Receive and Review the Checklist: The completed checklist will be sent to your specified email. Review it carefully to ensure it aligns with your compliance needs before proceeding with the export.
