1. Overview

FlyTask's Bulk Notification via Slack automation allows you to send bulk notifications to specified Slack channels with ease. The automation is designed to process user inputs, generate messages through AI, and deliver them to the appropriate Slack channels, ensuring smooth and effective communication.

 

 

2. How it Works

  1. User Input: You provide the message content, the Slack channel, and language preferences in the form.
  2. AI Processing: The information is processed using FlyTask's AI, which ensures that the message is properly formatted and delivered to the correct Slack channel.
  3. Delivery: The system sends the message to the designated Slack channel, notifying your audience effectively.

 

 

3. Required Inputs

For the task to function, the following inputs are required from you:

Message Content:

  • The text of the notification (between 1 and 1000 characters).

Language:

  • Select the language for message processing (default is en-GB).

Slack Channel ID:

  • The ID of the Slack channel where you want the message to be sent. To find this, go to the Slack channel, select the channel name, and locate the ID in the popup.

Level of Creativity (AI Temperature):

  • Choose how creative you want the AI to be when generating the message, ranging from 'Very Low' to 'Very High.'

 

 

4. Slack Credentials

To enable the automation to send notifications, you'll need to connect your Slack account. Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Slack Credentials section.
  2. Click on Connect your Slack Account.
  3. Provide your Slack login details to authorise FlyTask to send messages on your behalf.
