Setting Up the Asset Purchase Agreement Task

Asset Configuration

Asset Description 

• Detailed description of the asset being purchased.
• Example: The asset is a residential property located at 12 Maple Avenue

Asset Price

• Total purchase price of the asset.
• Example: £350,000

Payment Terms

• Schedule and conditions of the payment.
• Example: £10,000 deposit due at signing; £340,000 at close

Warranties

• Any warranties provided with the asset.
• Example: Property is defect-free and code-compliant

Liabilities

• Outline of any debts or obligations tied to the asset.
• Example: The buyer assumes all liabilities associated with the property upon closing

Dispute Resolution

• Process for handling disagreements or disputes.
• Example: Resolve disputes via mediation or arbitration

Confidentiality

• Terms for protecting sensitive information shared in the transaction.
• Example: Both parties agree to keep all shared sensitive information confidential
